LIRA Animal Health Products is a sub division of Kauffman Animal Health, Inc. Kauffman’s has been manufacturing the Lira Gold line of products since its inception in 1998. Kauffman's recent acquisition of the marketing rights to Lira Gold and Lira Animal Health Products provides our customers with an unmatched line of Direct Fed Microbial Supplements, direct to you from the manufacturer. With prevention in mind, LIRA products provide you with the tools necessary to ward off negative pathogens and balance your animals’ digestive needs. LIRA’s Direct Fed Microbial formulas begin with species-specific probiotic pre-mixes and then are modified with other all-natural additives to meet the customer’s needs.

KAUFFMAN'S ANIMAL HEALTH
Kauffman's Animal Health, Inc. was founded in 1978 by Leon J. Kauffman as a small family oriented business with the intent to manufacture, package and market a line of nutritional supplements and premixes aimed at feed manufacturers and feed dealers. The original product line contained premixes and supplements for poultry, livestock and horses. Having the strongest ties with the race horse industry, the equine line of products grew more rapidly than the other lines. With this strength, our horse supplements quickly gained acceptance in racing circles in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Kentucky. By the early 1980's, our KA-HI Horse Supplement was being shipped as far as Florida and Japan. A natural extension of our business was in the private label sector. Many sales oriented companies began to contact us as a quality producer for their own lines of supplements and premixes. Our sustained growth has continued throughout our 25 plus years of existence.

With over 25 years of dedicated service to the feed industry behind us, we look forward to continued strong growth in our company. Our attention to detail, quality, and cost control have positioned us to take advantage of opportunities in the private label sector of the feed industry as well as promotion of our own brands. Recent and planned acquisitions will increase our market presence and name recognition through out the United States and internationally.

EMPLOYEES
The company is currently owned and operated by Dave and Tom Kauffman, with help from their father Leon, the founder of the company, and other family members. Including family members, the company currently employs fifteen full time employees. It is our employees that truly drive our company.
